Holiday Beach in Haikou, capital of Hainan province, has taken on a new look after recent renovations.
The scenic area has served locals and tourists for nearly 20 years and its only previous upgrading was in 2009.
Last year, Haikou improved the surrounding environment, launched ecological restoration and added traditional cultural elements of Hainan to the area to guarantee a better experience for people as they appreciate the sunshine and sand in Haikou.
