The 2018 Sanya Family Tours Fair, Kids Love Sanya, concluded at the Haitang Bay Mangrove Resort Hotel on Sept 28 with the signing of deals worth 580 million yuan ($84 million).
The fair, hosted by the Sanya Municipal People's Government, was co-organized by the Sanya Tourism Development Commission, the Education Bureau of Sanya City, and China National Travel Service Group Corporation Ltd.
More than 50 family tour enterprises signed up for the exhibition, while hundreds of buyers were invited.

According to the Sanya Family Tour Resort White Paper released by online travel agency Lvmama, Sanya received 28.55 billion yuan in tourism revenue from January to July, a year-on-year increase of 14.03 percent. The figure is expected to exceed 50 billion yuan by the end of 2018.
Family tours income accountes for 30 percent of the total and is estimated to exceed 10 billion yuan this year.
Islands, yachting and theme parks are three priorities for family vacationers. Sanya has enormous potential in family friendly tourism because of its budding yacht travel and ever-increasing family travel routes, said an executive from China Travel Service Head Office Co Ltd.
Additionally, Sanya is now home to more than 50 starred hotels with family tour recreational facilities and over 300 family tour holiday resorts.
