Hainan province organized 24 leading enterprises to participate in the 15th China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair (CISMEF), which opened in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, on Oct 10.
The companies hailed from a wide range of industries including green food, energy conservation, environmental protection, information technology, biological pharmaceuticals and special tourism.
Green food such as the red pitaya and its derivatives, which include drinks and lipsticks, and intelligent manufacturing, such as dry type transformers, all proved popular with consumers and reflected the ideas of technological innovation, ecological environmental protection and healthy development inherent in Hainan's planned pilot free trade zone and free trade port.
CISMEF is the largest and most influential international fair in China. It is widely seen by industry insiders as a platform that can help in exchanging experiences with domestic and foreign peers, introduce local products to a wider audience, and allow for greater exploration of the international market.
