South Korea JK Plastic Surgery Hospital established a treatment center at the Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone in Hainan province on Dec 20.
At the signing ceremony, held at the Boao Yiling Life Care Center, Han Yingwei, director of Hainan Provincial Health Commission, looked forward to its opening, expressing hopes that the new treatment center will be developed into a world-class institute integrating medical treatment, education and scientific research.
Joo Kweon, president of South Korea JK Plastic Surgery Hospital, first visited Hainan 13 years ago. He was surprised with the tremendous changes taking place on the island and optimistic about Hainan's market potential. He also showed confidence in the Boao Yiling Life Care Center, believing it a trustworthy partner with quality equipment, technology and management.
Anti-aging and eyelid surgery will be focuses of the new center. However, it also aims to become an example of cooperation in international high-end medical tourism between China and South Korea to attract more high quality medical resources, enterprises and tourists.
South Korea JK Plastic Surgery Hospital, founded in 1998, was the first plastic surgery institution certified by the CCM consumer service center system in South Korea.
