A new glass skywalk in the Yanoda Rainforest Cultural Tourism Zone in Baoting county, Hainan, opened to the public on Feb 2, offering a brand-new experience for tourists.
It spans 365 meters, which includes a 108-meter cable-stayed glass cradle head and a 257-meter gallery road. It is located on a cliff on Wuzhishan Mountain, and has an altitude of 400 meters.
The Yanoda Rainforest Cultural Tourism Zone, about 35 kilometers away from downtown Sanya, is one of Hainan's five tropical rainforests, and is regarded as China's "diamond-grade rainforest scenic spot". The name "Yanoda" means "one, two, three" in the local dialect. It is also used to mean "hello", expressing kindness and wishing good fortune upon the receiver.
