Naval vessels open for public visit

Two naval vessels in Sanya, Hainan province, were opened to the public on April 23.

They are new types of major warships for offshore defense operation and have just been included into the Chinese Navy array in the past three years, which can reveal features and conditions of the Chinese Navy.

The move of opening active vessels to the public is not only an international convention, but also a cultural tradition of the navies of major powers.
