South China's Hainan province held a special job fair for overseas talents on Dec 18, with 54 companies from the island offering 723 positions.
It was the first fair hosted with a focus on connecting foreign talents with companies since the island became a province and a special economic zone in 1988.
Twenty-one Hainan-based institutions, foreign-funded enterprises, private enterprises, and social organizations attended the fair and communicated with job seekers comprised of international students and foreign talents in the province, while 33 enterprises issued their recruitment plans online for resume submissions.
