The sixth Asian Beach Games will be held in the Chinese tropical city of Sanya from Nov 28 to Dec 6, the same schedule as previously planed, according to the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA).
The OCA earlier sent emails to Olympic councils in 45 countries and regions, informing them that Sanya's novel coronavirus patients have all been discharged from hospitals in good health.
In the past two months, the Sanya Asian Beach Games Organizing Committee has focused on the prevention and control of the novel coronavirus epidemic, as well as continuing the event preparation work. It has efficiently promoted the preparations for venue and media center construction, as well as the opening and closing ceremonies. It also communicated with and timely informed the OCA of epidemic prevention and control efforts, which gained great understanding and support from the OCA.
