As Hainan province continues to upgrade its talent policies and enhance its talent introduction measures, a growing number of investors have been seeking business opportunities in the construction of the Hainan Pilot Free Trade Port. In the first quarter of this year, over 36,800 new market entities were registered in Hainan, showing continuous momentum in its growth.

As of the end of March, the South China province is home to more than 955,000 market entities, of which more than 320,000 were enterprises and more than 630,000 were self-employed.

In order to better serve enterprises, relevant departments in Hainan province have streamlined the process of starting a business, improved the efficiency of enterprise registration, and implemented the entire online process of business registration and optimized the approval procedures.

Applicants can submit registration applications online anywhere in the province, and choose any market supervision window to print their business licenses.

On April 15, Hainan issued four talent policies, implementing a more active, open, and effective talent policy to support the accelerating construction of a batch of new think tanks with distinctive Hainan characteristics, global influence, and high competitiveness as well as helping the island province build a talent system with free trade port characteristics.
