Preferential policies, fiscal support to drive Hainan poverty alleviation efforts

Preferential policies and fiscal support will continue in order to consolidate our poverty alleviation achievements, said Liu Cigui, Party secretary of Hainan province, during a presentation to National People's Congress (NPC) deputies working at the grass-roots level in Hainan, on May 24.

There are currently no Hainan province residents living in poverty, with considerable improvements to living standards made in recent years.
