On Dec 30, 2020, the Olympic Council of Asia announced that the Sixth Asian Beach Games, due to be held in Sanya City, China from April 2-10, 2021, has been postponed, regarding the global COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, the accreditation system for the games will be temporarily closed, and the restart of the accreditation will be further announced with regard to the situation of the Games.
