The new government affairs hall in Longhua district in Haikou, Hainan province, was put into operation on July 26. Located in the Fullsing Town Internet Innovation Park, it has the first 24-hour government services "supermarket" in the Hainan Free Trade Port.
The building consists of four floors, with a government affairs smart service hall on the first floor, which boasts 22 self-service machines that provide 1,366 kinds of services spanning tax administration, social insurance, industry and commerce.
The marriage registration center is on the second floor and has six service windows for marriage registration. There is also a premarital medical examination area to offer free medical examinations to couples and a tutoring room where psychologists are invited to answer any questions couples may have regarding marital issues.
The comprehensive service hall on the third floor is made up of three parts. Area A, which provides services to talents, like granting work permits to foreigners, identifying talents, and handling talents' housing subsidies. Area B focuses on enterprise services, and Area C offers 264 one-stop business services for businesses at the district level.
The fourth floor contains command platforms for city operations and management, which provide service hotlines, implement grid management and give emergency commands.
