South China's Hainan will strengthen people management measures in key areas and carry out nucleic acid testing and screening of people in those areas, according to a notice issued on Aug 12 by the Hainan's COVID-19 prevention and control headquarters.
According to the current epidemiological survey and the results of big data analysis, those who have stayed in or have been to the key areas or areas near places where there are confirmed cases and asymptomatic infections, might be at risk of exposure, and their Hainan Health Codes will be yellow.
Residents who reside in medium-risk areas or those who have lived in areas where confirmed cases have emerged in the past 14 days will also receive a yellow health code.
Those who stayed around a patient four days before the patient was identified as a confirmed case for more than 30 minutes are identified as yellow health code holders as well.
Through the analysis of video surveillance, electronic payment as well as on-site or telephone surveys, those who were in the same place or area with a confirmed case will be identified as a close contact and will receive a yellow health code.
People whose health codes are yellow should contact medical staff at their designated sub-district, community or township level to report their travel history, and go to the nearest nucleic acid testing site with members of their household.
An ID card and Hainan Health Code are required when taking the nucleic acid test and personal protective measures such as wearing a mask and avoid taking public transportation are required too.
No talking or gathering is allowed while waiting for the test and one meter of social distancing is enforced.
