Passengers leaving for Beijing are no longer required to present a negative nucleic acid test result at Haikou Meilan International Airport, Sanya Phoenix International Airport and Qionghai Boao Airport from Aug 31.
However, they still need to wear masks, measure their temperatures and present their health codes.
Meanwhile, the local government has canceled the suspension of holding gathering events of more than 300 people, but hosts holding such events should control the number of participants and document all attendees. In principle, people who have stayed in high-risk areas and epidemic-related areas within the last 14 days shouldn't attend the gathering events. Weddings and funerals are advocated to be streamlined, and the organizer no longer needs to report to local community authorities.
In addition, key populations such as people arriving in Hainan from foreign countries, from medium-risk and high-risk areas, and people who have stayed in epidemic-related areas should report to the community or village authorities after returning to Hainan. Those people should be quarantined for medical observation for 14 days, and undergo nucleic acid testing as required.
