The Yangpu Bonded Port Area, which is part of the Yangpu Economic Development Zone in South China's Hainan province, invited a group of national media reporters to experience its vibrant business environment on Sept 17.
With the implementation of a slew of favorable policies, more and more companies choose to settle in the area. It welcomed 508 newly registered enterprises last year, and 1,135 had settled in the area by the end of August this year. The total number of registered enterprises reached 1,780, which included a high number of Fortune 500 companies.
The companies said they have benefited tremendously from the efficient government services. The time needed for establishing new enterprises was reduced to just one working day, and the construction administrative approval schedule was also greatly shortened.
