On Oct 24, the Haikou municipal bureau of foreign experts affairs held the first foreign talent innovation and entrepreneurship sharing session at the Haikou International Talent House, attracting more than 20 international talents from over 10 countries to participant in the event.
The international talents exchanged their entrepreneurial experience and company operating conditions as well as setbacks or confusion encountered in the entrepreneurial process at the International Talent House.
During the event, some foreign businessmen said that the reason why they chose to start a business and engage in foreign trade in Hainan was because of the favorable Hainan Free Trade Port policies, the excellent natural environment, the potential tourist consumption market, and they hope to promote international exchanges and cultural sharing as well as achieve win-win development.
By gathering overseas innovative and entrepreneurial talents in Hainan, the event aimed to let international talents experience the innovative and entrepreneurial atmosphere at the Hainan FTP, understand Hainan's innovation and entrepreneurship policies and environment, discuss entrepreneurial ideas, and share entrepreneurial resources.
Pi Jinyu, head of the Haikou International Talent House, said that they will provide foreign talents with a full range of assistance and services in innovation and entrepreneurship so that foreigners can better integrate into the construction of the Hainan FTP.
