In order to boost consumption potential and stimulate the economy, Hainan is hosting the 3rd carnival for tourism, food and shopping across the entire province since November.
With the theme of "Go Hainan, go shopping," the carnival has kicked off a year-end large-scale consumption event by inviting thousands of enterprises from all cities and counties across the province to participate both online and offline.
According to the Hainan Provincial Department of Commerce, the carnival has launched nine major themed promotions including the Food Festival, the Online Retail Promotion Festival, the Duty Free Shopping Festival, the Auto Festival, the Home Appliance Promotion Festival, the First Store Promotion Festival, the Code-Shopping Festival, the Night Carnival, and the Time-honored Brands Cultural Festival.
Online and offline interaction is an important characteristic of the carnival. This year's carnival cooperates with enterprises such as Chind Duty Free, Carrefour Supermarket and Suning Tesco, and has livestreaming activities to promote Hainan duty-free, tourism, food and home furnishings as well as to attract consumers to participate in the carnival online.
