The "Hainan Week" of the China Pavilion at the Expo 2020 Dubai kicked off on Tuesday and will be held until Friday. The main venue will be located in Hainan, which will fully display the new construction achievements made at the Hainan Free Trade Port.
Lin Chunhong, vice chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Hainan Sub-council, introduced that in order to support the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port, Hainan province was chosen as a key province to participate in the China Pavilion's activities. "Hainan Week" will launch two key activities, namely the International Free Trade Port Online Forum and the Hainan Free Trade Port Promotion Conference.
The International Free Trade Port Online Forum aims to use the platform of the World Expo to conduct exchanges focusing on the construction of the Hainan FTP, rules on trade in goods, and rules on trade in services.
The Hainan Free Trade Port Promotion Conference will organize six of Hainan's key industrial parks including Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City, Yangpu Economic Development Zone, Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone, Wenchang International Aerospace City, Lingshui Li'an International Education Innovation Pilot Zone and Hainan Eco-Software Park to be promoted for investment.
During "Hainan Week," Hainan will also hold a series of on-site activities in the China Pavilion at the Expo 2020 Dubai. Through themed promotional videos, photo displays, and the distribution of souvenirs such as coconut carvings, Hainan elements will be fully displayed at the Expo 2020 Dubai.
