According to the latest notice from the Hainan Center for Disease Control and Prevention, from Jan 11 to March 15, people planning to enter Hainan should bring a negative COVID-19 nucleic acid test certificate that was issued within 48 hours.
Those who do not have a certificate should be sampled by customs and then wait for the results at home or accommodation. All people arriving in Hainan should scan the "Hainan Health Code," report to the community or hotel they live or stay at within 24 hours, and take the initiative to monitor their health for 14 days.
People who have resided in, traveled to, or passed through any risk areas should take the initiative to proactively report to the community authorities and should cooperate with all local epidemic prevention and control measures.
Hainan shall strengthen the investigation of people with a history of living in Tianjin since Dec 15, 2021, implement two nucleic acid tests in three days, and conduct 14-day self-health monitoring. Those been in the Tianjin area since Dec 15 will receive a yellow health code, and they will be transferred to a green code after completing the nucleic acid tests.
With regards to disease prevention measures, the public should continue to be vigilant, wear a mask when taking public transportation or attending group activities, wash hands frequently, and maintain a safe social distance at all times.
