Hainan holds conference on business environment, investment promotion

On Jan 18, Hainan held a conference on the business environment and investment promotion in Haikou to promote free trade port business opportunities to entrepreneurs from home and abroad.

A total of about 120 people participated in the conference both online and onsite. People who attended the conference virtually were mostly from the United States, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, South Korea, Japan, Canada, Turkey, Oman, Portugal, Switzerland, Indonesia, and Malaysia.

Li Zhijie, chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Hainan Sub-council, said that they have given full play to the platform role of the business environment monitoring center. They also established 24 business environment monitoring stations and 160 monitoring points, forming a complete business environment monitoring network system.

He Jifeng, an official of the special office for optimizing the business environment of Hainan province, said that Hainan has been attaching great importance to the work of the business environment improvement. The province issued a series of laws and regulations to optimize the business environment, maintain fair competition, and protect intellectual property.

The conference invited professionals and entrepreneurs from the economic and trade fields to seize the opportunity of the Hainan FTP construction, make full use of the policy advantages and invest in Hainan.
