Leading group of CPC Hainan Provincial Committee elected

On April 29, the first plenary meeting of the 8th CPC Hainan Provincial Committee was held in Haikou, capital of South China's Hainan province.

The plenary session elected members, as well as the secretary and deputy secretary of the Standing Committee of the 8th CPC Hainan Provincial Committee. Shen Xiaoming, Feng Fei, Xu Qifang, Chen Guomeng, Shen Danyang, Feng Zhonghua, Zhou Hongbo, Wang Bin, Luo Zengbin, Yang Xiaohe, Miao Yanhong, and Bater were elected as the members of Standing Committee of the 8th CPC Hainan Provincial Committee.

Shen Xiaoming was elected as the secretary of the CPC Hainan Provincial Committee, while Feng Fei and Xu Qifang were elected as the deputy secretary of the CPC Hainan Provincial Committee.

The plenary session emphasized that members of new Standing Committee of CPC Hainan Provincial Committee should shoulder the important historical missions of comprehensively deepening reform and opening up in Hainan, as well as the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port. All members and alternate members must work hard to complete the goals and tasks set by the 8th CPC Hainan Provincial Congress, as well as accelerate the construction of the Hainan FTP with Chinese characteristics and global influence.
