The second China (Hainan) Sporting Goods and Equipment Import Expo will be held at the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center in Haikou, Hainan province from March 24 to 26.
According to the Hainan Provincial Department of Culture, Radio, Film, Television, Publications and Sports, Hainan's tourism development goal is to receive 72 million tourists in 2023, with a year-on-year increase of 20 percent. The province aims to reach a total tourism revenue of 140 billion yuan ($20.3 billion), up 25 percent year on year.
In order to ensure the high-quality realization of these predetermined goals, the department will promote the development of the characteristic sports industry and continue to hold the China (Hainan) Sporting Goods and Equipment Import Expo.
As China's first boutique and professional exposition that focuses on the import of sporting goods and equipment, the expo is an important window to promote the international competitive sports tourism industry chain by taking advantage of the Hainan Free Trade Port's duty-free policies.
The expo will have an exhibition scale of more than 37,000 square meters, displaying high-end imported sporting goods and equipment, sports event services, as well as domestic and foreign sports tourism boutiques. The exhibition will be divided into four areas according to different themes, including water sports, outdoor leisure sports, air sports and sports bicycles. In addition, it will hold high-end sports industry forums and a number of boutique sporting events.
