The 24th Hainan Island Carnival will kick off in December, offering over 100 activities across the province for a month.
The main venue for this year's festival is in Haikou, where six main activities will be held. This includes the opening and closing ceremonies, the 8th Hainan World Leisure Tourism Expo, the 9th Hainan International Tourism and Food Expo, and the 4th Hainan International Tourism Equipment Expo.
Sanya, Danzhou, Qionghai, Wenchang, and Wanning will serve as sub-venues, hosting 26 supporting events, including the 8th Sanya International Cultural Industry Fair and the Hainan Island International Film Festival.
Additionally, the 2023 Happy Hainan Tourism Month campaign will be launched throughout the province. Major shopping areas, duty-free shops, merchants, scenic spots, and other tourism-related businesses in the province will implement various preferential measures in order to show their support for this campaign.
The organizing committee has also made efforts to integrate resources to create and launch nine themed tourist routes.
