Nineteen Hainan members of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) made 55 proposals related to Hainan Free Trade Port construction, high-quality development, ecological civilization, and people's livelihoods at this year's "two sessions."
These CPPCC members, including Mao Wanchun, Yu Xun, Chen Malin, Meng Xiaoling, Wang Lu, Hou Maofeng, Guo Jianchun, Lian Jiede, Shi Zongwei, Yang Fengji, Pan Huili, and Lin An, began returning to Hainan province on May 28 after fulfilling their responsibilities diligently.

During the session, the 19 CPPCC members deliberated on the government work report, draft of the Civil Code, the work report of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee, and the report on the examination of proposals. They provided valuable advice about social development and reform, as well as other pressing issues concerning the public.
