With the permission from the Olympic Council of Asia, the designs for medals of the Sixth Asian Beach Games were released to the public on June 19.
The medals possess rich Sanya characteristics, with the event emblem and Sanya's distinctive Tianya Haijiao in the upper part of the front side. The curved lines around the lower part of the front side symbolize the unique marine elements of the bay, waves, and beaches in the tropical city.
On the back of the medal is the emblem of the Olympic Council of Asia.
The side part of the medals features the words "Welcome to Tianya Haijiao," which invites people from across the world to visit Sanya, displaying Sanya's openness and hospitality.
